Board of Trustees, Okaloosa Law Library

Authority:  Special Act of the Florida Legislature (Chapter 67-1787) Laws of Florida.

Purpose:  To oversee maintenance of a central library for the use of county officials and the judges and officers of several courts.

Members: Board consists of five (5) members: 

  • The Senior Resident Circuit Judge of Okaloosa County

  • One (1) member of the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County

  • The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Okaloosa County

  • Two (2) practicing attorneys of Okaloosa County

    • One (1) to be appointed by the Senior, Resident Judge

    • One (1) to be appointed by the Board of County Commissioners

Term:  2 years

Meetings:  As needed and will be publicly noticed.
