Founded by the Okaloosa County Board of Commissioners in 1987, the Okaloosa County Environmental Council is a volunteer citizen organization dedicated to the preservation of our natural environment.
Environmental Council Meetings are held at 11:00am the 2nd Friday of every other month (March 9, 2007, etc.) at the Tourist Development Council, 1540 Miracle Strip Parkway S.E. in Fort Walton Beach. Dress is casual, with an informal meeting atmosphere. Membership is open to all Okaloosa County citizen volunteers!
