The Okaloosa County Artificial Reef Program through Okaloosa County Public Works, deployed Okaloosa County's newest artificial reef network. The Conch Reef artificial reef network consists of 32 pre-fabricated concrete structures deployed in 16 locations in the Gulf of Mexico approximately 15.2 nautical miles on a bearing of 151 degree from Destin Pass at a depths ranging from approximately 110 to 125 feet. On May 10, 2011, the tugboat Monica Lee was deployed at coordinates: 30.09.342'N and 86.22.224'W and serves as the centerpoint for the Conch Reef.

Monica Lee Tugboat - Conch Reef Centerpoint Depth - 117'
50 foot long steel hulled tugboat. The Monica Lee Tugboat was contributed by Turn Key Marine and prepared for deployment by volunteers from the Emerald Coast Reef Association.
Monica Lee is the hub of a four (4) pronged proposed reef system named Conch
Reef to be installed in the summer of 2011.
