Electronics Recycling
Since 1989 Okaloosa County has recycled over 90,000,000 Pounds of newspaper, glass, plastic, and metal cans as well as 95,000 tons of yard waste.
Growing at three times the rate of other wastes, electronics is the latest challenge in environmentally friendly waste disposal. If not properly disposed of, electronics can release hazardous materials into our environment.

To help alleviate this problem, Okaloosa County 's Recycling Office has provided Okaloosa County residents with a program to dispose of electronics. The items listed below can be dropped off weekly by appointment only.

Please call 850-651-7394 for additional information or to set up an appointment.

Who can participate?

Okaloosa County residents and small businesses who fall into the category of a Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG).

Businesses can call 850-651-7394 for drop-off information.

Or go to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection web site's list of end-of-life demanufacturing and recycling companies.
