The Okaloosa County Law Library was created in 1967 by a Special Act of the Florida Legislature. Open to both the legal community and the general public, the Law Library provides access to the courts through a collection of legal materials in both print and electronic format. Library staff are available to assist patrons in using materials, but are not attorneys and may not give legal advice, do research or suggest specific forms.

Okaloosa County maintains two law libraries; one within each of the courthouse facilities. Due to budget constraints, the libraries are currently open limited hours.
