Schedule of Fire Fees

At its April 3, 2007 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners amended the Okaloosa County Fire Code ordinance to establish a Schedule of Fire Fees. This schedule of fees can be viewed at New Fire Fees.

New “Business Office” zoning district

At its February 20, 2007 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance approving a new “Business Office” zoning district. The purpose of this zoning district is to provide areas for “light commercial” uses such as office buildings, banks, medical offices, etc. This district will also serve to provide a reasonable transition between commercial and residential uses.
