Administrative Services oversees nine county departments under the Board of County Commissioners. Six departments (Human Resources, Purchasing, Information Systems, Fleet Operations, Facility Maintenance and Risk Management) provide internal support to the countywide system. Three additional departments (Extension Service, Court Services and Veteran Services) are also part of Administrative Services.

Administrative Services also has management responsibilities for several county programs and special projects. Some of these activities include:

• Establishment and coordination with municipalities for the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative.
• Liaison for personal services to the Heritage Museum.
• Supervision of county staff at the Law Library.
• Monitoring various County contractual agreements, including Legal Aid Services.
• Implementation of a Customer Service Program designed to assist county departments in better serving the public.
• Development and contract management of the Okaloosa County Workfare Program.
• Researching and analyzing issues raised by the Board and County Manager.

Administrative Services serves as a liaison to the public and is committed to serve the citizens of Okaloosa County in the best manner possible.
